Moylan’s Orange & Black Congrats Ale is a “smooth, American black ale brewed with orange zest.” And the lineup sounds promising. Or should I fear the beer(d)?
Pours mahogany with a two-finger tan head. An orange mocha on the nose: orange oil, rich coffee, and dark chocolate. Tastes just like it smells. Malty-sweet, toasty. Sweet roast coffee with a touch of carbonation. Very creamy, like a black ale Creamsicle. Lighter than it looks. Bitter orange aftertaste. Damn good. Beer the feared!
